That trial was a farce. A disgrace to the legal system. [ even more than some of canon trials and that's saying something. ] And I.. the biggest disgrace.
... It did start off that way. We investigated together, trying to figure out why we were the only ones awake. It was normal enough, to start. Then he started acting... violently. Completely unlike himself. In the beginning, I was trying to get through to him, to calm him down, but... it wasn't long before I lost control, myself.

Unlike me, Ryunosuke doesn't have the capacity for such cruelty.
[ he could believe that he'd lose control on his own, but not ryunosuke. ]
It's alright. I'd rather you be prepared for what's ahead, if whatever is doing this strikes again. If my story can be of any help at all.... then at least he wouldn't have died for nothing.
